Road to Terengganu – 1st day -Hai Peng Chukai...

Early in the morning at 5.30, we started our journey to Terengganu. Took us approx. 3 hours to reach the best “Nasi Dagang” and home-made coffee in Kemaman, Chukai. The restaurant called Kedai Kopi Hai Peng. This is my favorite place to have my breakfast, wouldn't miss if we come holiday in Cheranting.  Don’t miss to the best food here if you come to Kemaman.

Once we done with our Nasi Dagang, we continued our driving to Terengganu. We made a pit stop to buy fresh-cook-sweet corns from stalls besides the road near Kampung Pasir Puteh, between Dungun and Marang. And, refuel to at Petronas Station... there have a nice small resting area and with a clean toilet.

At 2 pm, we reached Kuala Terengganu.

We drove straight to the hotel, Felda Residence at Jalan Balik Bukit.

The guys all went sleeping and the ladies all went to Pasar Payang shopping...

Bersih Rally 2012 -Police Brutality ??

I do not know what to comment... but my opinion is like this,


For the police, they have a right to be very angry because public disobey the first instruction made by Government not to come for the Bersih demonstration.

I notice that early in the morning at 6.30 am, while I was driving toward town centre, I saw a convoy of police trucks are heading to Dataran Merdeka.  The faces of these policemen in the truck were so sleepy, tired and bored. Woke up early in the morning because of a stupid demonstration.


For the long holiday because of the labor day on 1st May, these policemen should spend their time with their family, relatives and other events.  They are also a human being.


But if they were called just to hold a group of people who I think just want to ignore the laws, try to be a blind follower to a political party and try to be a hero at a wrong place and wrong time, these policemen should kick the ass of all these arrogant people.


If I were the policemen, I also will beat up some of these people because of their stupidity and arrogant.


Anyway, because they are called "Police" or "A Law Officer", they should be the one should show a good example or a role model of a good and observant officer in performing their job with honour, dignity and proud.  

The policemen should know they if they act the same manner with the public by kicking, beating and brutality hurting people, they also can be at par with the demonstrator, i.e. arrogant and stupid.


The policemen who brutality hurting people should be strip off the police uniform.  The policemen should know that once they wearing the police uniform, they should act one by showing their professionalism in handling stress and tense situation.  They should stand tall in doing a good community service to public.


My opinion, both sides the demonstrators and policemen have showed disrespect to laws.  

This like playing the chess, this is only both parties throwing out their pawns for the first moves.  Others which more powerful just looking aside to observe opportunities and weaknesses to strike back.  The knights, castles, bishops and queens of both parties just standby to make the next move to checkmate the king.   Who will checkmate first?  Just wait until the general election in June 2012, probably? 

My advices are that if you do not like the ruling party, just show your power during the election day by crossing the opposition party box. Why wasting time by making other people in a miserable stage during the clash moment between the demonstrators and policemen.

Last but not least, I love peaceful country... better deal with the devil you know instead of the devil you do not know.

Azzam's Birthday with Angry Birds Cake

On 11 February 2012, we celebrated Azzam's Birthday at our sweet home.  The cake is Angry Bird which based from the popular games of the year.  

 

Angry Birds is a strategy puzzle video game developed by Finnish computer game developer Rovio Mobile. Give a big applause to my wife who had been working very hard in the kitchen to prepare for the food. Delicious indeed, especially the spaghetti and the grilled lamb and chicken.  My wife should enroll for the Chef Malaysia competition...Lol. 

Burger Rawang Bakar in USJ9 is the BEST

We went to this popular burger stall called "Rawang Burger Bakar".   The burger meat is hand made and it is well-done grilled in perfection with salad, piece of pine apple, cheese, black pepper, chili sources and onion. 

You can add egg and more meat.  If you can eat, you can order KLCC burger, they put 3 meat... Wow

My name is Bond, James Bond...

This is my dream car, Aston Martin V8 Vantage RS

One of the cars manufactured by Aston Martin.  The Aston Martin V12 Vantage RS is one of the most powerful vehicles thus far, and this motor sports-inspired street machine looks the part too, with a low riding body, an ultra-sleek roof, and massive sports wheels.

The V12 Vantage RS is powered by a 6.0-litre 48-valve V12 motor outputting 447kW (600hp), similar to the unit used in the Aston Martin DBRS9 race car.

When you talked about James Bond, other than the man boy's toys, cars and guns... a beautiful girl. lol

Surpringly, met a malaysia girl in one of the aircraft.  She very happy to see us "Malaysian" in Shanghai.

Once upon a time in Shanghai

During the last week of March 2012, we visited Shanghai for airshow exhibition. Stayed at Marriott Hongqiao Hotel. The hotel is just 15 minutes from Shanghai Hongqiao Airport and Hongqiao Railway Station.

Since we are a member of Marriot, can get free access to WIFI. Can use skype to contact my family.

When we arrived at Pudong Airport, I made a query of our hotel booking at the Marriott counter and they told me which hotel I had booked. I told them a Marriott Hotel and they told me that there are 4 Marriott hotels in Shanghai… which one?? Lol

Holiday at Bukit Tinggi (Part 2) - Japanese Village

Our journey to the Japanese Village is a good one.  The Japanese Village is located at 3,500 feet above sea level. The first of its kind outside Japan. It encompasses a Japanese Tea House, Sakura and Ume Tatami Suites, and a Botanical Garden. An hour long authentic Japanese Tea Ceremony conducted by Kimono clad ladies can be observed at the Japanese Tea House located within a Japanese garden with mini waterfalls and a pond of multi-coloured Koi.

My advice is that you should drive there and do not take the free ride provided by the hotel especially during holiday because too many people to take the ride and when you want to take the return trip to hotel, it is too crowded and sometimes you need to wait up to 1 hour to get the ride.
