Trip to Pulau Pinang - (Part 2 -Pinang Hill "Bukit Bendera")

Pulau Pinang is a nice place to visit and there were many attraction places and sites can be visited.  Our today trip is to Pinang Hill (Bukit Bendera), War Museum and Fish Museum.

First trip is to Bukit Bendera, there are a big change since my last visit in 1981 with my parents.  The coach train is new and looked modern as compared to the old one.  The fare is reasonable and got package fare for family.

It took us less than 15 minutes to reach to the top (823 meters) above sea level.  By hiking, need about 4 to 5 hours to reach.

Upin & Ipin at Penang Hill??

Since 1923....wow! older by 50 years than me.

The Arabic Style Foods at Half Moon Restaurant

Today, we went to have our dinner at the Half Moon Restaurant. It is a Arabic style cuisine provides some very delicious and mouthful cuisine. The menu show some arabic words plus pictures of the foods.  Look very nice but better you ask the waiters to know further about the menu.

The Half Moon is located in Seri Kembangan, the direction to South City Plaza and bear to your right once you see green colour shophouses.  The address is 9-1, Jln SP 2/8, Tmn Serdang Perdana (btw South City Plaza & East Lake View Condo), Seri Kembangan, Selangor 43300.

They got such as mandy, haneth, kabsah lamb/chicken with rice. Other side orders like hummus, falafel, sambosa, mutabal, warraq ainab.  The drinks are so special especially the fruit juice... cheap and original.  Other drinks that most customers ordered like adani tea, arabic tea, coffee, expresso, cofe latte and carbonated arabican soft drink.

Trip To Pulau Pinang (Part1- Nurul Ikan Bakar Special)

Our second day in Pulau Pinang, we have our dinner at Nurul Ikan Bakar Special, near the marine police Batu Uban.  GPS location is N05 21.258 E100 18.698.

The restaurant is quite good.  Let say that from my opinion, the ambiance and the hospitality and services are above standard.  They welcomed us and even we did not book our dinner because we came about 13 pax, the owner welcomed us and led us to any available table.

Can choose either to seat at the table, floor table like Japanese style and hut (ground level or top level).

The damage was reasonable and we paid around RM200, so RM15 per pax.  Now, will tell what is our RM200 cuisine.

Anwar Ibrahim is a free man at last...

I thought so...Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim (DSAI) will be acquitted from the sodomy charges.

DSAI is the Malaysia's Opposition Leader who has strong charisma and personality.  He has vowed to give hard time to the rulling party (Barisan Nasional) in the coming general election.  He has always insisted that the sodomy charges was politically motivated.

Why he was acquitted?  I kept my opinion to myselft.  I can only take the news release from Malay Mail...

KUALA LUMPUR: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim is today a free man after the High Court here this morning delivered a verdict of not guilty in his highly-charged, long-drawn sodomy trial involving his then 23-year-old former aide Mohd Saiful Bukhari Azlan.

Proceedings began at 9.20am and Justice Mohamad Zabidin Mohd Diah wasted no time in announcing the verdict to a packed court, stating the court "could not be 100 per cent certain that integrity of the DNA samples were not compromised."

Thus, he said DNA provided could not be used as evidence.

Mohamad Zabidin also said the court could not rely on Mohd Saiful's testimony alone as sodomy was a sexual crime.

UPSI chaos during new year 2012 eve demo by UPSI students

I am a very ideal person and like to see and evidence myself on what I see and what I believe.  If you have time, please watch the video at the widget column which I had downloaded so that you can watch and to witness personally what had happened exactly during the UPSI demo event.

In Malaysia, we got 2 different versions where the students claimed that the police have brutally beat them up when the police requested the students to disperse.  The police strongly stand by their ground claiming the  police did not act any violence against the students during the night.

Now, both parties, the wounded UPSI students and the police force are accusing each other lying and both parties have concrete evidence to show that they are right.

This is totally a joke for me because it seems like a TOM and JERRY cartoon.  TOM hits JERRY and JERRY hits TOM back until the bull dog can to rescue JERRY.
