Visit Singapore

The next day after spending our holiday at USS, we were brought by our travel agent to see some of the best landmarks in Singapore.

The first one is the Singapore Flyer.  It is 540-feet Ferris Wheel that offers a 360-degree view of Singapore's
Marina Bay. The SF is mounted with 28 air-conditioned capsules, each one the size of a bus and able to take on up to 28 riders.

No time to take a ride so just take some photos from the bottom to up view.

The disappointed faces ... why cannot go up, no time maa?

The background view is the Singapore’s newest entertainment destination, Marina Bay Sands Hotel. Known to be the biggest hotel in Singapore, with three 55-storey towers, 2,560 luxury rooms and suites, and 18 different room types.

Azeem wanted to be the magician David Copperfield, try to lift the hotel in the air by his hands.

The Merlion is a lion-headed statue with a body like a fish. The name is a combination of mermaids and lions. The Merlion was designed by Fraser Brunner. The Merlion is a symbol of the Singapore.

So thirsty, can drink maa...

We can see the standing tall Maybank logo in Singapore.

The Merlion is located on Merlion Park, the area became a popular tourist place and the name was already well known around the world.  Many tourists took photos here.  They said if you come to Singapore, you must take a photo here to prove that you had visited Singapore.

Got a restaurant under the flyover bridge.

Walking back to Malaysia.  Singapore is a best place to visit and may come again to visit the Safari Night, Underwater World and more.  I will come again in February 2012 for Singapore Air Show.
