Day 5- Sultanhani Caravanserai

Today, we had a long journey to Cappadocia, near the Nevsehir City.

We had a few stops for WC and pray.  It was a tiring journey but the view is great.   It took us 6 hours from Pamukalle to Konya.

In Konya, we stopped at this small Sultanhani Caravanserai to have our lunch. It was used for merchants who had travelled across Asia to Europe/ North Africa.  It was built as a shelter to protect the merchants, their goods and their animals traveling the caravan routes that crossed Anatolia along the Roman-Byzantine routes.

Another 2 hours journey, we visited the big Sultanhani Caravanserai.

Another 2 hours more journey, we reached Cappadocia and overnight at Avrasya Hotel.

Today tips:  (5) please bring your Qibla compass because most of the hotel did not show the Qibla direction.
