Skyfall ... ops SkyBridge, Langkawi...

This is not a new James Bond movie... SKYFALL, which I admired the movie which show how classic the movie is that remind me DR No- Sean Connery - the first bond movie.

This is about Langkawi SKY BRIDGE.

The Sky Bridge is one of the attraction sites of Langkawi Cable Car.  The bridge is located at the ‘end’ of the Cable Car ride and is located 2,300 ft above sea level.  It is a 410 ft-long curved pedestrian bridge.  The journey to the top starts out at the Oriental Village in the upper northwest of Langkawi Island, near Pantai Kok. Once the cable car gets going it gets a little chilly as winds flow through the ventilation slits at the top, so put on a sweater beforehand.

It is a journey of thrill way up to the top of Mount Mat Cincang, Langkawi's second highest peak.

The sad thing is the Sky Bridge was closed for renovation.... LOL

First step is entering Oriental Village and passing through the pleasant oriental garden and souvenir shops, visitors make their payment at a counter before stepping onto an escalator which brings them to the cable-car pedestal.

My advice is if you want to go there, please do not do during school holiday, the queue is a damn long skyfall ever.  Waited almost 2 hours to get our butt on the cable car.  Luckily, we bought our ticket plus boarding pass from the tourist guard who has few leftover since her group came late.

Second advice is please go there in the early morning, be the first person to get the ticket and boarding pass.  The counter ticket counter opens at 9 am and if you have extra buck, buy a VIP ticket and you can pass all the long and tiring queuing.

Once you reached to board into the Cable Car, please put a smile on your face for the in-house camera guy for your photo snap.

After around 600 metres, the cable car reaches the first station, where you disembark to either; take another cable car up to the peak, or lull around the observatory deck and admire the magnificent surroundings. Most will not spend too long here, as the view from the peak is even more amazing.

For the second station, it is short but when come reaching near to the station, the cab waving hard to stop and make your feeling unpleasant and scaring.

The final station is where most of the excitement part.  There are stalls selling souvenirs, toys, snacks, drinks and "Ramli Burger"- a most popular Malaysian burger.
