Suprise me when this morning at 7.45 am while i was driving to work when i heard the very shocking news about the death of Michael Jackson ("MJ"). All radio stations talked about his death and played his songs.I remembered 25 years ago when I was 13 years, a year after my Pernilaian Rendah. I scored very bad. But anyway... the world was hit by 3 hit best songs performed by MJ... 'Beat It', 'Billie Jean' and 'Thriller'.
I remembered during that time, TV3 was come into our life in 1984 for first time.. we only hoped that TV3 will showed all the video clip of MJ's thriller. Sometimes we watched the video clip at our friend's house where he owned a video player. My parent house did not have any video player since my parents were not effort it. So we were hoping that our friend will play the video clip many times as we were standing our his house at the gate watching the video clip from outside.
MJ full name is Michael Joseph Jackson and he was borned in 29 August 1958. MJ is one of the most successful African-American singer of all time and known as The King of Pop. His popular signature is the Moonwalk... everybody wants to do the moonwalk.
Sad thing about him when recently he faces a lot of problems, sexual allegation with minor, got sue, financial problem where a lot of his properties and personel belongings have to be sold off / auction. Then he annouced that he got cancer. I think he dies because of the hope for living is no more there.
On 24 February 2007, MJ converted Islam and became a Muslim. His Muslim name is name is Mikaeel. It was based on the name of one of the Islamic angel known as "Malaikat Mikail". Malaikat Mikail is known as fortune angel (malaikat yang menyampaikan rezeki) . Refer to Surah Al-Baqarah surah 2, ayat 98. In English, Mikail is called as Michael.
