Fast and Furious and Live To Ride at Metrade

Last weekend, we visited a car show exhibition at Matrade Convention Centre, Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur.  Many cars and motorcycles were displayed in the hall and a few cars were available outside for test drive.  Since we have Maybank ATM and credit cards, we were allowed to enter the hall for free.

The best section is the motorcycles section at level 2.  The “Ducati Monster 795” is my dream bike.  Price at MYR 59K and look forward to have it by next year if I got bonus.

The Harley is also in the wish list but my pocket cannot afford it for the time being.  When I studied in US, I bought a Honda Shadow 600 cc.  Brought it back to Kuala Lumpur.  Used for less than a year, the bike got stolen.  10 f**king guys lifted my bike onto a lorry and drove away.  I was so sad!! That is why Hukum Hudud is the best law because all thieves will be cut their hands.  The execution will be done in public.  Let people know and see.  It is currently done in Mecca and Medina and you can see people afraid to commit the offence.

There was also a section of Formula 1 driving experience.  Both my kids did the pre test drive and both cannot qualify to drive on the F1 simulator cars.  To qualify, you must at least complete a full circuit lap less than 2 minutes.

There was a new launch car by Honda, CR-Z.  The car is a 1500 cc hybrid car with manual transmission.  The car is solid and looks very sporty but the rear seats are too small and congested.   The price is around MYR 112K.

I am a big fan of the Fast and Furious movies, before exit from the exhibition, we have the chance to see the 1970 Dodge Charger drove by Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel).
